Energy Healing Can Boost Optimism and Motivation

As an energy healing practitioner, I have encountered many techniques and modalities aiming to promote healing and well-being.

One such practice that has gained popularity in recent years is Reiki. Reiki is a form of energy healing that originated in Japan in the early 20th century and has since spread worldwide. Reiki can help encourage and boost both optimism and motivation.

What Is Reiki?

Reiki is a technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It’s based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy,” or “Qi” (pronounced “chee”), flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s life force energy is low, we are likelier to feel sick, stressed, or depressed. Reiki is one way of channeling this energy to help restore balance and promote healing.

Reiki practitioners use their hands to channel energy into a patient’s body. It’s a non-invasive, gentle form of clearing energy and restorative healing. The practitioner doesn’t actually touch the patient but instead holds their hands over the patient’s body in specific positions. The energy then flows from the practitioner’s hands into the patient’s body, helping to promote relaxation and healing.

Reiki energy can be channeled and transferred across any distance, so it’s not necessary to be in the same physical place as the practitioner to receive the benefits.

How Does Reiki Encourage Optimism and Motivation?

Reiki can help encourage and boost optimism and motivation in several ways.

1) Reiki promotes relaxation and reduces stress. When you’re stressed, it’s hard to feel optimistic or motivated. Reiki helps calm the mind and body, making it easier to be more optimistic and positive — often the fuel you need to feel motivated.

2) Reiki can help promote the healing of physical and emotional issues. When you’re dealing with pain or illness, it’s hard to feel optimistic or motivated. Reiki can help alleviate physical pain and emotional stress, making it easier to have a better sense of wellness and envision life through a more positive perspective.

3) Reiki can help to balance the body’s energy. When your energy is out of balance, it can lead to physical or emotional problems. Reiki helps balance the body’s energy, promoting a sense of well-being that could lead to taking positive actions and feeling encouraged and hopeful.

Giving Reiki a Try

If you’re interested in trying Reiki, there are many ways to do so.

You can search for a Reiki practitioner near you and schedule an in-person appointment. Or you can receive Reiki over longer distances by meeting with a practitioner over Zoom or by phone.

Many holistic health centers, yoga studios, and spas also offer Reiki sessions. Some hospitals and healthcare facilities are beginning to have a Reiki practitioner for in-patients as a complementary modality to reduce patients’ pain and emotional distress while promoting healing.

It’s important to understand that Reiki is not a substitute for traditional medical treatment. Reiki can help promote healing and well-being.

It’s a great option to add to your wellness regimen to help encourage and boost your energy, mood, and levels of optimism and motivation.
