Meatball Magic: Try This Italian Burger!
This must-make recipe adds an Italian flair to your favorite hamburger. With melted cheese and marinara sauce, these Italian-style burgers will be an instant hit. Your grandkids will love your new creation and keep coming back for more.

Ingredients:
BURGERS

- ½ cup dry Italian-style breadcrumbs
- 1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder
- ¼ cup shredded fresh Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1½ pounds 90% lean ground beef
- 8 ounces bulk mild Italian pork sausage or Italian chicken sausage
- canola oil spray

- 8 hamburger buns

- 1½ cups marinara sauce
- 8 slices provolone cheese
Directions:
- In a large bowl, combine all burger ingredients. Mix until combined.
- Spray a large grill pan or skillet with the canola oil.
- Heat the pan over medium heat 3–5 minutes.
- Place half of the buns, cut side down, into the pan.
- Heat 30–60 seconds until lightly toasted. Repeat with remaining buns and set aside.
- Using ½ cup of meat mixture, press into a patty—repeat (8 burgers).
- Put burgers in pan. Cook for 3–4 minutes (one side).
- Place marinara sauce in a small bowl and cover. Microwave on high for 1–2 minutes.
- Turn burgers over. Top each with a provolone cheese slice and one tablespoon of marinara.
- Cook for 2–3 minutes until the internal temperature is 160°F.
- Place burgers on buns. Serve.
