FYI … Two Trends for Now & Later

Did you know that sometimes trends are classics that come back in style? I’m loving how two of my favorites are perfect for “now and later”.

Animal print is considered a classic. To ramp it up a few trendy notches, anything snakeskin will do the trick! A London based lifestyle blogger shows us how to classically style a pair of white slacks with a neutral snake print blouse. Doesn’t that sound elegant for spring? And for now, just add a white or camel coat!

Shoes and boots are another way to incorporate this trendy print into your wardrobe. A pair of Free People booties go great with jeans now and will look fashionable with crops later.

If loafers and flats are more your style, DSW has a great selection! My favorite snake print trend is a pleated midi skirt from H & M. For now, I’m pairing it with an oversized V-neck sweater also from H & M, and later this spring I will wear it with a blouse and a belt!

Translucent bags are definitely on-trend! From designer Chanel to a trendy Staud…they are this season’s “it” bag. We are loving how a NYC fashion blogger shares multiple ways to style a clear tote by adding a pouch or clutch in a fun print. Bag matching never looked so trendy!

Always on-trend, ASOS gives us a great now and later look featuring two clear totes. One is trimmed in black with a faux croc pouch, and the other is trimmed in white with a snake print pouch.

For me, the ultimate is combining the two trends by pairing a translucent bag with a cool pair of snake print pants!
