“If you want to change the world, then go home and love your family!”
This quote from Mother Theresa is a guiding principle behind local non-profit, This Side UP! Family (TSUF).
This Side Up! Family serves over 500 families annually (since 2011) and has received numerous awards (most recently the 2018 Meritorious Service Award from the Texas Council on Family Relations) and recognition as a community non-profit bringing a much-needed focus on family relationship strengthening.
TSUFamily’s FREE Family Relational Wellness programs/services equip parents with the tools, skills, and quality activities they need to move their family from surviving to thriving!

Young Men’s Service League, a mom/son service organization is one amazing organization that provides service hours at family connection nights, childcare during marriage enrichment nights, clothes sorting for clothing giveaways and more. This Side UP! Family is continually wowed by their involvement and passion for serving families in our community!! For VOLUNTEER Opportunities, go to thissideupfamily.org.
Let me introduce you to just one of our TSUFamilies:
Darsell, a parent in the TSUF program shared: “I was broken and trying to do something different with my life. I felt like giving up but This Side Up! Family changed that by supporting me and my children and never made me feel worthless or like a charity case. Because of the help we’ve received from TSUF, my girls and I now collect clothes and volunteer at the clothing giveaways. Some of the best times my children and I have had have been at TSUF’s Family Connection Nights.
