Barbara Dornak Christian, a retired Chase executive, and her husband, Ron, have adopted four GALT greyhounds since 2008. Barbara is GALT’s Donations Coordinator and she also manages fundraisers and transports. After publishing several short stories, Barbara became a guest columnist for the Dallas Morning News in 2010. She has donated most of the net proceeds from her novel, Hearts and Hounds to GALT.
