New DART Silver Line: The Easy Way to DFW Airport
The new DART Silver Line is here, and your airport trips just got easier—and a whole lot less stressful.
It’s a game-changer for anyone tired of paying for airport parking, navigating DFW traffic, or asking family members for rides. This 26-mile commuter rail connects seven North Dallas cities—Plano, Richardson, Dallas, Addison, Carrollton, Coppell, and Grapevine—straight to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
Whether you’re catching a flight, meeting grandkids at UT Dallas, or exploring North Dallas without the hassle of driving, the Silver Line makes it simple. With 10 stations linking North Dallas to DFW Airport, here’s everything you need to know.

Why the Silver Line works for you
Bypass airport parking fees. No more circling DFW lots or paying $20+ per day. Park at a Silver Line station (many have free or affordable parking) and ride directly to your terminal.
Avoid traffic headaches. Let someone else deal with the Tollway while you read, relax, or catch up on email.
Meet family on neutral ground. Adult kids live in Plano? You’re in Grapevine? The Silver Line puts you 30 minutes apart with no highway stress.
Explore without driving. Hop off at CityLine for dinner, Addison for a concert, or downtown Carrollton for a festival—no navigation required.
The Silver Line trains feature wide, accessible entrances with grab bars and level boarding—no steep steps to navigate. Comfortable seating, climate control, and large windows make even the longest trip to DFW Airport pleasant.
