Bark Park Central
2445 Canton Street Dallas, TX 75201

Park Hours:
Monday, Wednesday – Sunday, 6:00am – 11:00pm
*The dog park is closed on rainy days and on Tuesdays for maintenance.

This urban dog park is in the heart of Deep Ellum with great views of downtown and eclectic artwork. You and your furry bestie are within walking distance of great dog-friendly restaurants and bars. Bark Park Central is a 1.2 acre “off-leash” dog park, in downtown Dallas.

Bush Central Barkway
3581 N Central Expressway, Richardson, TX 75023

Park hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday – Saturday 6:30am – 10:30pm
Wednesday 10am – 10:30pm

Bush Central Barkway in Richardson is the city’s first dog park and is a treat for man’s best friend. The six-acre site is under and along the President George Bush Turnpike west of US 75.
The park features separate areas for large and small dogs, and for puppy parents who are not as perky anymore, is now settling into a slower pace or recovering from surgery, an area for sedentary dogs is also available. The park has a central plaza with restrooms, shade structures and open space with different textures that include grass, decomposed granite, stone and logs.
**Please note: If your fur baby is 29 pounds or less they need to play in the small dog area. Large dog area is designated for 30 pounds and over.

Dog Park at Bonnie Wenk Park
2996 W. Virginia Park McKinney, TX

McKinney’s Very Own Park for Canine Friends Unleash the Fun!
Dog Park at Bonnie Wenk Park is a beautiful two-acre, fenced, off-leash park featuring:
• Splash pad for dogs
• Separate areas for big and small dogs
• Shaded pavilion
• Well-lit location

The dog park splash pad is available to enjoy year-round, however, the splash pad is occasionally deactivated due to freezing temperatures and reactivated as weather conditions allow.

Hound Mound at Heritage Park
1202 Garden Ridge Blvd. Flower Mound, TX

The Hound Mound at Heritage Park is the Town’s 5-acre dog park located on the east side of Heritage Park. The park has separate areas for small and large dogs, and amenities include natural shade, hybrid Bermuda turf, irrigation, seating areas with water fountains, trash receptacles, pet waste stations, landscaping, and 40 parking spaces*. Jack Carter Dog Park
2215 Pleasant Valley Dr. Plano, TX 75023

Monday – Sunday – 5am – 9:30pm

The dog park is a double-gated, fenced, two-acre area along Bluebonnet Trail, It features a separate area for large and small dogs with shade shelters, picnic tables, benches. LED lighting, water stations for humans and dogs, waste pickup/disposal stations and a dog rinse station near the parking lot.. A warning strobe will be activated before the lights automatically turn off. Please leave adequate time to vacate the park. The dog rinse station is winterized during the winter months and remains off until spring. The dog park is the only off-leash area designated by the Plano Parks and Recreation Department. When outside the dog park enclosure, all animals are required to be restrained on a maximum 6-foot leash at all times, including when arriving and departing the dog park.

NorthBark Dog Park

NorthBark Dog Park is a 22.3 acre “off-leash” dog park, in far north Dallas and offers everything a pooch could want; including trails, swale and an expansive lawn area. Pamper your pet on the unique “dog beach” adjacent to the doggy lake, frolic on the 6-foot wide loop trail, lounge under the pavilion, or cool off in the doggy shower surrounded by beautiful metal fencing with custom cut dog silhouettes and elegant flagstone structures. The park features: Dog Drinking Bowl, Benches, Dog Shower, Drinking Fountain, Fenced Area, Grill, Lake/Pond, Large and Small Dog Area, Parking, Pavilion, Pet Waste Stations, Portalets and Trails.
Fun Fact: This unique K-9 haven is the largest of its kind in North Texas. It features a doggy lake, showers and pavilion.

Pawsome Dog Park
4800 E Lake Highlands Drive, The Colony, TX 75056

Park hours:
Monday – Wednesday, 7am – 9pm, Thursday, 3-9pm, Friday – Sunday 7am-9pm
The Pawsome Playground features .85-acre small dog area and 2.1-acre large dog area. Amenities include shaded seating areas, benches throughout the park, dog waste stations, trash recpticles, drinking fountain including a dog bowl, decorative fire hydrants. Railroad Dog Park
1301 Railroad Street, Lewisville, TX

Park Hours:
Monday – Sunday, 8am – 11pm
The six-acre dog park features two areas for dogs and owners. One acre is dedicated to small breeds and five acres are reserved for larger breeds. Covered seating areas are provided in both sections so that owners may comfortably keep track of their animals. Near the entrances are transition areas to provide leashing/unleashing, waste disposal, wash stations and drinking & watering fountains. Potential programs to be developed could include dog obedience classes and agility training courses.

Rosemeade Dog Park
1330 E Rosemeade Pkwy, Carrollton, TX 75007
Park hours:
Monday – Wednesday, Friday-Sunday, 6:30am – 10pm
Thursday 10am-10:00pm
The park offers separate small and large dog areas, fresh water station, covered seating area, trees for shade and large area for your furry friends to run.

Ruff Range Dog Park
5335 4th Army Memorial Drive, Frisco, Texas Located within B.F. Phillips Community Park.
Park hours:
Monday – Wednesday, Friday – Sunday, Sunrise to Sunset
The park features a large and small dog off-leash area as well as parking.

Waggin Tail Dog Park

A spacious and fun park for your furry friend to exercise and socialize. There are big boulders for pet parents to sit on and chat with other pet parents. There is easy parking near the park’s entrance. For more information regarding the dog park, call 972-462-5100

Wagging Tail Dog Park
5841 Keller Springs Rd. Dallas, TX 75248

The dog park is closed on rainy days and on Mondays for maintenance.
Wagging Tail Dog Park is a 6.9 acre “off-leash” dog park, in north Dallas. It is located northwest of Preston Road. A wonderful flagstone observation deck rises 35 feet above White Rock Creek, and offer majestic views of a waterfall. The beautiful metal fencing with custom cut dog silhouettes and expansive landscape is ideal for both large and small dogs. After enjoying the company of other K-9’s, be sure to stroll around the 6-foot-wide loop walking trail.
The park features Benches, Dog Drinking Bowl, Drinking Fountain, Fenced Area. Grill. Small and Large Area, Nature Observation Platinum, Parking, Pet Waste Station, Picnic Areas with Picnic Tables, Shaded Areas and Trail
Fun Fact: Wagging Tail was the first dog park designed by the City of Dallas.

White Rock Lake Dog Park

This 3-acre “off leash” doggy paradise boasts great views of the lake, trail, and wildflower areas. You and your fur friend will enjoy the wide variety of big and small K-9’s that frequent this park, and most importantly you’re only steps away from hiking, jogging, cycling, or boating around Dallas’ largest lake.
The park features: Benches. Wiggly Field Dog Park

Monday – Sunday, 6am – 10pm
The park offers separate fenced areas for large dogs and small/shy dogs, human and pet drinking fountains, and paved parking; no restrooms.
